A plain guide to buying research materials: what to check before you order, how our catalog and certificates work, how storage is stated, and the questions first-time buyers ask most.
Published by Atlantic Longevity, which sells the materials described on this site. This is not independent journalism or medical advice.
Before your first order
- Read the paperwork first. A certificate names the lab, the lot, the method and the result. We publish 54 certificates, from 6 independent laboratories (Bioviridian, Janoshik, Krause Analytical, MDx BioAnalytical Laboratory, MZ Biolabs, Prime Analytical Laboratories), in the certificate index.
- Match the lot to the vial. A certificate describes one lot. It says nothing about a different lot of the same compound.
- Know the restrictions. Orders are for buyers aged 21 or over, for laboratory research only, to U.S. addresses. The terms of sale are short and worth reading.
- Check the total. Volume discounts are applied for you, and shipping is quoted before you pay.
For a longer checklist, see what to check before choosing a research supplier.
Browse the catalog
30 compounds and laboratory supplies across 6 research areas. Each category groups materials studied in the same area, so you can browse by field.
Reading a product page
Each product page is built the same way:
- The compound, its size and its form (powder, solution or capsules).
- A short summary of the research area it appears in, with no claims about people.
- The testing method and, where a certificate is published, the lab, the lot and a link to the full document.
- The storage condition for that product.
- Size options and the price, with volume discounts calculated in the cart.
Storage
Every product page states its own storage condition, and the right one is whatever that page says. Most lyophilized products list a freezer temperature and protection from light; a few list refrigeration or room temperature. Products are shipped in packaging suited to their storage requirement. Move items to their stated conditions on arrival. See shipping for handling.
